Collage Animation
Unfortunately there is no sound, but it was fun working on Adobe Animate! I used the same song that was inspiration for my collage.
Photoshop Collage
I made a collage of one of my favorite songs, "valentine (prod. flavors)" by atlas. It was fun altering the images with different blending modes and adding styles to create this sort of fantasy effect!
Magazine Cover
With this assignment, I wanted to create an urban space magazine cover. Here are the photos I used in order to create the main graphic of the cover. (The picture below was taken when I visited Okinawa, Japan) By combining these two images, I was able to create this mock magazine cover!
Coding "Hazel"
Many hours in the computer lab and I am still not quite finished. I do want to turn something in though so here is how far I got. Still missing details like the hands and feet. I'll update the post in a couple of days when everything is done, because I really do want to finish the complete image. Well, this took forever. Unfortunately, I had to make the executive decision to not do the rest of Salina's hair (my sister) due to the time limit. Maybe I will finish the rest of her hair in my own time.
Logo Critique: Evian vs. Aquafina
I'll be comparing two water company logos, more specifically Evian and Aquafina. Water has a particularly large target audience since it is a life necessity for everybody, however these two companies have a slight difference in their targets. By looking at both companies' websites, Evian opens up to a country selection where as Aquafina only has the option to change the language between English and Spanish. Thus, Evian has a much larger target audience because the water is globally available. Almost every water company logo includes the color blue. Evian, however, stands out with majority of the logo being the red text. In the past, the logo was enveloped by a light pink ring, but it has been taken out for a more modernized look. The Evian website has kept an entirely pink and white color scheme. In this sense, Evian succeeds to differentiate from other water companies with their simplistic, geometric mountain top graphic and significantly different color scheme. Aq

Shoe Swap This app allows shoe aficionados to trade their shoes for other shoes that other people offer within the app. Pictures can be uploaded into their profile and they can put up either a certain shoe of interest for trade or sell their shoes for a price Go Blue This app displays all the cool beaches and services provided at each beach area. People can enter a city and a country to find beaches from private with prices to free public beaches. Ratings for beaches will included for each beach. Urban Bean This app is for coffee aficionados interesting in finding the coolest local coffee shops in their area. Not intended for anyone looking for a Starbucks. Chloe's Closet A second hand shop inside one app. This app has the same concept as the Shoe Swap app but is geared towards the trading and selling of vintage clothes.
